A Day on the Water Bassin' With Jerry Fournier

Jerry,
I can’t thank you enough for one of the best days I’ve had on the California Delta. You’re a true gentleman and one of the most knowledgeable fishermen I’ve ever spent time in the boat with, especially when it comes to knowing how to read the Delta’s finicky tides, the changing water color, choosing the correct technique, the right color baits to use, where the fish will be positioned in the current, you’ve got it all covered and your ready to share that with the others in the boat so they have an incredible day on the water. We all know how great a fishery the Delta has become, but to catch a limit of 5 fish that tipped the scales at over 30 pounds, with a 10lb monsters o cap of the limit, that was truly amazing and far exceeded my wildest expectations. If I’m every approached by another fisherman looking to spend some quality time on the water with a world class guide, you’re the only guy that I would recommend, “Hands Down” for day of fishing they will remember for a life time.
Thanks for the awesome pictures and I really like the one of you and your two 7lb fish.( I don’t care what their scales said, those bad boys were both 7lbers. The Pic’s all turned out great and it’s so funny to see those big fish in a picture, they don’t look as big as they did on Sunday.
Anyway, I’ll look forward to seeing you up at New Melones in the fall for the State Championship and please feel free to call me when your ready to pre-fish so we can share a few ideas.
Best Regards,
Richard J. Wilson

Dear Jerry,
I wanted to thank you for taking me out fishing recently. I learned more in one day of fishing with you than I have over the past five years I have been involved with the sport of bass fishing.
You have a very unique and easy way of teaching people the critical techniques of bass fishing while making the day extremely interesting by sharing your vast knowledge of the outdoors. Your explanations of the various wildlife around us and the correct way of fishing for bass not only allowed me the thrill of catching a lot of fish, but taught me many things about my surroundings at the lake that I never knew.
With your many accomplishments in the sport of bass fishing over the years combined with your ability to teach the average person how to catch fish, you are truly a unique guide that offers much more than the average person in the same profession.
Your customers will be getting much more for their money by spending the day with you as their guide than they will from most of the other guides in the business. Good luck!
Sincerely,
Steve Lobrovich Fremont, CA

To Whom It May Concern:
I’ve know Jerry Fournier since 1993 and in my opinion he is one of very few people that have the overall knowledge of bass fishing in this region. Jerry approaches every trip by analyzing the conditions and utilizing his vast knowledge of the area. With that effort he has become very successful.
I enjoy fishing with Jerry more than any single person because I know I will get his best every time. I will never pass up a chance to fish with him.
Enjoy.

Dear Jerry,
Thank you for the opportunity to fish with you. Your vast knowledge of bass fishing has greatly improved my abilities. Your instructional patience on the delta has improved my pitching and flipping techniques, and also how to read the tides and structure that can be very frustrating on the river. I look forward to our next trip, especially the HONOR BOUND tournament next spring. Thanks for all your help with the sport we both love!
